Rosemerryn Farm subdivision: stage 9
THE PROJECT
C & A Cox were offered the role of Main Contractor for Rosemerryn Farm subdivision, stage 9, which was started in Jan 2015. This partnership has been so successful C & A Cox have been there ever since 2015. The role of main contractor can be a very complex role of managing all subcontractors, weather events, dealing with Engineers, Council representatives, and Environment Canterbury, whilst ensuring the job is completed on time and presented to the highest standard, which for developers is the key to a good development.
THE CHALLENGES
The last 5 stages at Rosemerryn Farm over the last 4-5 years, have been some of the most challenging ground conditions that we have encountered, due to the very large volumes of ground water requiring de-watering before any pipe can go in the ground.
OUTCOME
These conditions were all managed successfully by our team, with the completion of the subdivision still on time.
