Our Story

C & A Cox Ltd was established in 1996, specialising in drainage construction, especially jobs involving deep sewer and stormwater and dewatering. Originally as a subcontractor for other drainage companies, BG Contracting and March Construction.

We have been involved in many subdivisions through out Canterbury as subcontractors: Wigram Skies, a very large development by Ngai Tahu of the Wigram Aerodrome.Canterbury Lakes in Kaiapoi, a 30 lot lake front subdivision, Ohoka Downs, one of the first developments set up with an income stream, in this case olives.Northwood subdivision-as one of the 5 drainage contractors that built Northwood, now a suburb.C & A Cox completed several joint ventures to complete some large scale sewer renewal projects –the Southbrook Sewer Upgrade, Rangiora. The Rangiora–Kaiapoi Pipelinewater upgrade, 11kms of 525 dia. pipeand the Belfast Pressure sewermain.
